The weather is getting chilly, but the air is getting warmer.
We’re going to take advantage of the chill and make some lemonade!
In this post, we’re going into details of the different ingredients we’re using to make our lemonade, as well as the recipe.
Lemonade Ingredients: 1 cup coconut milk 1/2 cup agave nectar 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tsp lemon juice 1 tsp orange zest 2 Tbsp lemon zest 1 Tbsp lime juice 2 tsp agave powder (optional) 2 cups fresh lime juice, strained 1 Tbs.
sugar (optional, if using agave) 1/4 cup orange juice (or 2 Tbs agave juice) 1 Tsp lemon juice (optional if using orange zests)1 Tsp agave extract (optional for lime zest)Directions:1.
Place coconut milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
Once hot, pour in the agave and vanilla and bring to a boil.
Add in the lemon juice, zest and lime juice.
Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 15-20 minutes.
Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.2.
To make the lemonade:1) Mix all the ingredients except the lime juice in a bowl.
Add the mixture to a jug or a pitcher and allow to sit at room temperature for 5 minutes.3.
To store the lemonades, add them to the refrigerator in an airtight container.
To serve, top with orange juice and drizzle with sugar.4. Enjoy!
